Hi, I’m Jack Thompson, and I’ve been passionate about golf for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my father, a golf enthusiast, and my grandfather, a dedicated player, were my biggest influences. They taught me not just the mechanics of the game, but also its deeper essence — the patience, precision, and the undeniable joy that comes from the swing of a club and the roll of a perfect putt.

My earliest memories are of following my dad around the course as he played, mimicking his movements with a toy club in hand. By the time I was eight, I had my first set of real clubs and was on the course with him every weekend. My grandfather, who played in his youth and later years, was also an inspiration, often recounting stories of his time on the links, sharing his tips and tricks with me.

Over the years, my love for the sport only deepened. I played competitively throughout high school and college, participating in various junior and amateur tournaments. Those formative years taught me much about the discipline and focus required to excel, but they also cemented my love for the sport’s camaraderie.

There’s a special connection between golfers — whether on a local course or an iconic US course like Augusta National or Pebble Beach. While I’ve played on courses all over the US, from the sun-soaked greens of Florida to the breathtaking elevations of Colorado, I’ve always appreciated each course’s unique challenges.
